Industry Partnership Program

A few partners in each industry, shaping what their sector runs on

We build the solutions your industry needs, and we build them alongside the organisations that will use them. Partners help shape what gets built, get everything their sector asks for as it arrives, and start with a first solution built with them at no charge.

Why the programme exists

Good sector software is not written in a room on its own

We offer ready to use solutions across a range of industries, and the reason they are any good is that people who do the work helped shape them.

So we keep a small number of partner organisations in each industry. They tell us what their sector actually needs, we build it, and every partner in that industry gets it. The programme is how the solutions stay current as funding rules, reporting obligations and practice change.

It is not a limited time offer and it does not close. What is limited is the number of partners in any one industry, because the value of this depends on working closely rather than broadly.

What you get

What partnership is worth to you

One of these happens when you join. The rest continue for as long as you are a partner.

When you join

Your first solution, built with you

We build it, you use it with real work, and nothing is charged until you decide to go live. You are not paying to find out whether it fits.

Ongoing

A say in what gets built

Partners tell us what their sector needs and that shapes what we build next. It is unusual to have a say in the software you depend on, and it is the point of this.

Ongoing

Everything built for your industry

What we build for one partner becomes part of the solution set for that industry, and it reaches you at no extra cost. Your position gets stronger every time another partner asks for something.

Ongoing

New capability first

Partners see new features before general release, with time to tell us what is wrong while it can still be changed easily.

Ongoing

A direct line

A named contact, and access to the people who actually build the product. Not a ticket queue and not a script.

Ongoing

Your peers

We introduce partners working on the same problems in the same sector. Most organisations want that conversation and have nowhere to have it.

How it starts

Three steps, about six weeks

You are not funding an experiment. Most of what you need already exists, and the work is fitting it to how your organisation actually runs. What you use during the trial is the thing you keep.

1
First conversation

We show you what exists

A walkthrough of the working product, and example solutions already built for organisations like yours. You see the shape of it before anyone commits to anything.

2
About six weeks

We fit it to you

We map how your process actually runs, then adjust what already exists to match. Very little is built from scratch. You watch it take shape and correct us as we go.

3
Then about a month

You decide

Use it with real work. If it earns its place, you go live. If the timing is not right, we part on good terms.

The first build

What we build with you

One solution area, done properly. Intake, case management, compliance reporting, supplier onboarding, whichever one matters most to you right now.

Your data modelWith the security rules that decide who sees what.
The formsThe ones your staff and your clients fill in, including public ones.
The workflowsApprovals and notifications that move work along.
An applicationWhat your team opens each morning, with the lists and screens they need.
Reports and a dashboardFor the numbers you have to report on.
A handoverA session with your team, and a short written guide for new starters.

We keep the first build to one area on purpose. One thing working properly is worth more than five half-finished, and it gives your team something real to judge us on.

Some things sit outside that first piece: years of messy historical data, connections into other systems you run, or a second area of the business. All of it is doable, and we will walk you through what each one involves whenever you want to take it further.

Nothing here is a trap. If you are unsure whether something is in or out, ask us and we will tell you plainly.

Money

Simple, and no surprises

The first build costs you nothing, and neither does trying it. Your team uses it with real work for about a month after we hand it over, and we do not ask for anything during that time.

If you decide to keep it, your subscription starts on the plan that suits your size. We agree the date with you rather than letting it creep up.

If the timing is not right, that is genuinely fine. There is nothing to pay and no small print waiting for you.

Support

You can always reach a person

Partners get a named contact for as long as the partnership runs, and everyone gets a real answer rather than a script.

Keeping what you have running is support, and it is included. When you want it to do something new, we will tell you what is involved first, so nothing arrives unexpectedly.
Working together

What makes a partnership work

Partnership runs both ways. What we hope for is the judgement of people who do the work, and none of it is onerous.

While we build

  • Someone we can ask questions, who knows how the work really happens.
  • Time with the people doing the job, not only the managers who describe it.
  • A couple of sessions where you tell us plainly what is wrong.
  • A rough date you are aiming to go live.

Once you are running

  • A conversation once or twice a year about what your sector needs next.
  • Honest feedback when something frustrates you. That is how it gets fixed.
  • If you are happy to, a word with a prospective partner who wants to hear it from someone other than us.
  • Permission to describe the problem we solved, with your name on it only if you are comfortable.
Fit

Who we are looking for

We choose partners who look like the organisations their sector is full of, because building for one properly is what makes the solution work for the rest.

This usually fits well

  • Community services, health, or public sector adjacent, in Australia.
  • Roughly 25 to 200 staff.
  • No internal development team, and no appetite for one.
  • Running something important on spreadsheets, shared inboxes and a system nobody likes.
  • Reporting obligations to a funder or a regulator.
  • Someone senior who wants this to work.

Not sure whether that is you? Ask anyway. The list above describes the organisations we have helped most, not a set of rules, and the only way to know is a conversation.

Two things are worth saying up front. Good work takes about six weeks, so if you need something live in three we would rather tell you now. And it does need a couple of hours a fortnight from someone on your side, because a solution built without your people in the room is never quite right.

If your industry already has its partners, we will tell you, and we can still talk about working together the ordinary way.

Tell us what you are trying to fix

We read every request. Describe the problem and we will tell you within a week whether we can help, and whether your industry has a place open.
