Sign in and find your way around

BPA is split into four sections, shown across the top: Work, Build, Govern and Platform. The menu down the left changes depending on which one you are in. That is the single most useful thing to know about finding your way around. If something is not in the left menu, you are probably in the wrong section rather than missing a permission.

Before you start

• An invitation email from your team admin.
• The address of your BPA workspace. Your admin will have sent it.

Steps

1. Open the link in your invitation and set a password.
   If the link has expired, ask your admin to send a new one.
2. Land on Work.
   This is the day-to-day section: My Work for things assigned to you, Start for requests you can raise, Apps and Forms for what your team has built.
3. Switch to Build if you are making things.
   Forms, Flows, Websites, Data and Solutions live here. Most people never need this section, and will not see it.
4. Govern and Platform are for administrators.
   People and access, logs, and workspace settings.

What you should see

You can find your own work under Work, and you know which section to switch to when something is not where you expected.

If it does not work

I cannot see Build.
You have not been given building access. Your team admin can change that.

The menu looks different from a colleague's.
Either you are in a different section, or you have different access. Check the four names across the top first.
