What BPA is, in plain terms
This page explains what BPA is for and the handful of words you will see everywhere, so the rest of the help centre makes sense.
BPA replaces the paperwork, spreadsheets and email chains a business runs on with something that keeps track of itself. You build the pieces you need, and BPA remembers who did what and when.
There are five pieces, and almost everything you build is a combination of them.
- A form collects information from someone. A leave request, a customer enquiry, a site inspection.
- A flow is what happens next. Send it to a manager, wait for approval, email the person back.
- Records are the information you keep. Customers, projects, assets, anything you would otherwise have kept in a spreadsheet.
- An app is a set of screens your team works in, built on those records.
- A website is your public pages, and it can carry your forms.
You do not need all five Most people start with one form and one flow, and add the rest when they need them. Nothing here has to be planned up front.
